Step-By-Step Template Set Up Guide
You’ve got your Showit template—yay! Now, let’s get it live! This guide will walk you through how to Sign Up, Add a Share Key, and Customize Your Website and everything you need to set up your dream website quickly and effortlessly.
Step 1: Check Your Email for Your Share Key
Once you complete your purchase, you’ll receive an order confirmation email. Inside this email there is a PDF attachment where you’ll find a special share key - this is what you’ll use to access your new website template in Showit.
Tip: If you don’t see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder!
Step 2: Sign Up for a Showit Account
If you don’t already have a Showit account, you’ll need to sign up. Showit offers a free 14 day trial, so you can explore the platform before committing to a subscription.

Visit www.showit.com and click Create Your Site. Insert your email address and hit Submit.

Complete the sign-up process
- Log In to Your Showit Account
- Once you’ve signed up and logged in to your new Showit account, you’ll land on your Showit dashboard. Jump to Step 3 to continue.

Step 3: Add Your Template to Showit
Now it’s time to add your purchased template to your account:

In the Showit dashboard, click on Open Design App.

Click on Your Designs

Select Add Design to Library

Enter the Share Key from your email

Click Add Design and your new website template will now appear in your account.

Step 4: Customize Your Website
Now the fun part—making the template your own! Here’s what you can do next:

Edit text & images: Replace placeholder content with your own branding, messaging, and photos.

Step 5: Add Your Own Domain

Add your domain: If you have a custom domain, connect it through Showit’s settings.

To request for your domain to be setup, all you have to do is click “Connect Your Domain”, in the top-left corner of the Showit app to initiate that process.
You can request your domain setup right away or wait until you’ve completed designing your website in Showit.

Step 6: Launch Your Website!
Run through The Showit Checklist to make sure everything is in place. Once everything looks perfect, it’s time to publish your new website and go live! Simply click Publish, and your stunning new site will be online.
